This reporting requirement was designed to provide information to aid law enforcement agencies in addressing subjects such as terrorist financing, drug trafficking, and money laundering. Due to the broad scope of the beneficial ownership information (BOI) reporting requirement, it is being interpreted to apply to HVRA. The “beneficial ownership” of HVRA consists of the members of its Board of Directors. On February 25, 2025, HVRA made the required filing of its BOI with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), a bureau of the United States Department of the Treasury.
